Peer concepts and practice
This module has four sessions and builds on the foundations from the first two modules, focusing on applying peer support concepts and skills in practice. It is designed for people who already have a solid understanding of peer support or experience delivering it.
It can also be used as continuing professional development for existing peer workers. This module supports participants to deepen their practice and strengthen their confidence in supporting the recovery journey of others.
Each session has its own participant workbook. As well as being used during sessions, we recommend you review the workbook ahead of attending each session and complete any of the pre-work, as advised by your facilitator. This gives you time to reflect and prepare, so you are ready to contribute to the discussion-based activities.
