One of nine short films that capture the personal stories of 18 Dundonians who have experience of mental health difficulties and recovery.

Shona’s story is part of the Making Recovery Real in Dundee project. The project aims to achieve a shift in power towards people with mental health problems. The project is by Dundee City Council, NHS Tayside and a network of Third Sector organisations.

This film and the others in the Making Recovery Real series are being used to:

  • Raise awareness of and influence attitudes about mental health and recovery
  • Encourage conversations and action around mental health support
  • Inform the development of recovery-focused policy and practice
