New film explores different experiences of living with trauma

Premiered at the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival this short film explores different experiences of living with trauma.

With Us, For Us Lived Experience Group members Chloe, Laura, Holly, Martin and Ruth created ‘Living With Trauma’ in collaboration with Scottish Recovery Network and Voices of Experience (VOX)

Using the art of photography we want to create a story and share what life is like living with trauma from a fresh perspective. No more cliches.

We want to share our creative skills to have a voice through storytelling and photography. This film visually illustrated from our own perspectives the reality of living with trauma.

With Us, For Us Lived Experience Group member

The group came originally together to for people living with trauma and / or who have been given a diagnosis of personality disorder. As a peer group they have found their voice and want to continue to share their perspectives and experiences more widely.

This was one of the best representations of living with trauma I have seen…It is such a great resource and considers so many different lenses. Would highly recommend a watch and sharing.
