Creating Hope with Peer Support events, workshops and a free resource!
Help us build networks across Scotland, share learning and increase community-based peer support as part of suicide prevention.
Creating Hope with Peer Support brings together groups, organisations and services across Scotland and has two main aims:
- To increase the confidence and capacity of community-based organisations to deliver peer support for people affected by suicide
- To develop networks and increase the understanding of peer support and its impact, particularly those affected by suicide
Learning and networking events
We’re running a series of learning and networking events across the country to:
- Encourage people to work together to champion peer and lived experience voices in local decision-making
- To showcase and develop peer support for suicide prevention in local communities
- To help build connections between public and third sector services and organisations
After today I feel hopeful, encouraged and determined!
