Celebrating 25 years of Mental Health Network Greater Glasgow

A new film and podcast mark 25 years of providing mental health support in Glasgow and the surrounding area.

The short film, created by trustees, members and staff, showcases the organisation’s journey and what it means to the people who make up their community.

Members have also produced a new podcast ‘Real Voices, Real Lives‘ which provides a platform for people to share their experiences and perspectives.

What I get from the groups is it gave me a purpose, it gave me a place to come and a reason to get up in the morning.

Zoe, Member

We believe that nothing is more powerful than the voice of lived experience. We provide our members with a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where they can connect with their peers, receive support and make a positive difference in the life of others.

Ann Jones, Staff

Throughout 2026, the network will be sharing stories from their past, celebrating achievements, and continuing their work to support mental health and wellbeing across communities.
