Book your place: Peer Worker Practice Exchange, 27 August
Are you working in a peer role, or supporting peer workers through supervision or leadership?
Join us in Edinburgh on Thursday 27 August for the first Peer Worker Practice Exchange in our new Peer Connects programme.
This free, interactive event is an opportunity to connect with others working in peer support, share experiences and strengthen your practice in a supportive learning environment.
Co-designed and facilitated with Maggie Wright, CEO of Families in Trauma and Recovery, the session will explore what it looks like to hold onto peer values in everyday practice. Together, we’ll consider how peer roles can be advocated for and sustained, how co-reflection and supervision support good practice, and how facilitation skills can be developed with confidence and care.
Whether you’re a peer worker or someone who supports peer roles, you’ll leave with fresh ideas, practical learning and new connections with others committed to growing peer support across Scotland.
The event takes place from 10am to 2.30pm at the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue, with lunch and refreshments provided.
