Making Peer Practical
Making Peer Practical is back for 2024!
The Making Peer Practical development programme supports you to plan and implement your peer support ideas. Whether your interest lies in peer roles, peer training, peer groups or something else. It helps you to identify an approach to suit your situation and the needs of the people you engage with.
This programme will help you to:
- Crystalize your peer support ideas
- Develop and structure your approach
- Articulate and ‘sell’ your plans to different stakeholders e.g., decision makers, funders and partners
- Put your peer support ideas into practice
With a range of sessions, group learning, free resources and mentoring support, it’s a great way to kick start or refresh your peer support journey. Think practical, supportive and fun with a great group of likeminded people!
Who is it for?
- Community groups, organisations and services who want to introduce and / or develop peer support as part of their offer to support people with their mental health and wellbeing
- Community groups, organisations and services already running support sessions, looking to harness the magic of a peer support approach.
